Creating a Budget

  • If you used Money Brilliant to get your expenses, they have a good budget option through manage my spending tab.

  • If you opted for the manual entry mode for expenses, ASIC MoneySmart's budget planner can be exported into Excel and is also pretty good.  A word of caution - when you see this for the first time, it is super over-whelming.  But if you work line by line, it provides useful triggers for expenses and income.

  • If you want further guidance, it may be worthwhile to book in for the five day #getmymoneysorted bootcamp - or even more personalised, one-on-one training - for both,  click here
